The Examining Body consists of following eleven members nominated by the Government under section 33 (3) of DBCP Act, 1998, namely –

  1. one member to represent the Department of Health and Family Welfare of the Government;
  2. one member who shall be an official of the Technical Education Board of the Training and Technical Education Department of the Government;
  3. one member from the Central Council;
  4. two members who shall be professors of Ayurvedic System of Medicine;
  5. one member who shall be professor of Unani System of Medicine;
  6. two practitioners of repute of the Ayurvedic System of Medicine;
  7. one practitioner of repute of the Unani System of Medicine;
  8. two officials of the Directorate of Indian Systems of Medicine of the Government.

The Government also nominates one of the members to be the Chairman of the Examining Body under section 33 (4) of DBCP Act, 1998.……….

Examining Body was constituted by the Government for the first time vide its gazette Notification dated 4th March, 2011.

Later on, Examining Body was reconstituted vide gazette Notification dated 20th January, 2022 and following members were nominated:

Dr. Pradeep Kumar Aggarwal is a young and dynamic public figure, with proven leadership & management skills, having more than 20 years of experience in the field of health services, quality, management & administration. He is an Ayurvedic Doctor by profession. He did his schooling from Goodley Public School, graduation (BAMS) from Delhi University with Diploma in Naturopathy/ Yoga and MBA in Healthcare Services from Sikkim Manipal University. He is also a green belt in Six Sigma Methodologies from Indian Statistical Institute. Apart from this, he also organized and participated in many trainings & conferences in various fields like Waste Management, Advanced and Basic Life Skills, Quality Management, Emergency and Critical Care etc. from time to time.

Dr. Aggarwal is recipient of many awards, titles and honours. During his graduation, he got an opportunity to join student politics. Dr. Pradeep, who was always vocal about the issues of student interest, was elected as the President of the Student’s Union of Ayurvedic & Unani Tibbia College under Delhi University in 1999.In year 2005, Dr. Pradeep Aggarwal contested the election of the Delhi Bharatiya Chikitsa Parishad (the state Council of Indian Medicine Practitioners) and won with highest number of votes.

He was elected as the youngest Executive member of Council for next five years. In those days Dr. Pradeep Aggarwal also became the Vice Chairman of Anti-Quackery Cell and during his tenure, he was also appointed as Chairman of the Legal Affairs of the Council.

In 2011, Dr. Pradeep Agrawal was nominated as a member of the Examining Body by Delhi Government. Till 2013, Dr. Pradeep Aggarwal also served as Secretary in the Examining Body. In March 2016, Dr. Pradeep Aggarwal was appointed as the Chairman of the Examining Body for Paramedical Training for Bharatiya Chikitsa, Delhi in view of his commitment, dedication, and hard work.

Dr. Pradeep Aggarwal, who is rendering his excellent services as the Chairman of Examining Body, had also been appointed in 2018 as a member of the Governing Body of Chaudhary Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan, a world class medical college located in Najafgarh.

The list of achievements of Dr. Pradeep Aggarwal is not limited to this only. Dr. Aggarwal is a Member of State Advisory to the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission. His name is also included in Jamia Milia Islamia University as an expert member. He is also a member of Academic Council of Jamia Hamdard University. Dr. Pradeep Agrawal is also serving various sections of the society through various NGO’s and is also associated with many other professional, religious, and social organizations.
